Community Engagement
Mental health trainings and workshops are designed to provide groups and organizations with practical tools for promoting mental health well-being and emotional resilience. Whether addressing depression, stress management, burnout prevention, or fostering supportive environments, each workshop is tailored to the specific needs of your organization or community, ensuring a meaningful and impactful experience.
As a certified QPR (Question, Persuade, Refer) instructor, I offer training that equips participants with the skills to recognize the signs of suicide and intervene effectively. This life-saving program is designed to help individuals take proactive steps to prevent suicide in their communities, creating safer and more supportive environments for everyone.
Life coaching focuses on helping individuals achieve specific personal and professional goals by offering structured guidance, goal-setting, and accountability. It differs from therapy in that coaching is future-oriented, focusing on personal development, career transitions, and actionable steps to overcome challenges. While therapy often addresses deeper emotional issues and mental health concerns, life coaching is designed to support individuals in reaching their potential and navigating life’s changes. Coaching sessions empower clients to take control and make tangible progress in their lives.
I offer two distinct services to support students and professionals in the mental health field:
Clinical Supervision: I provide clinical supervision for professionals pursuing licensure, focusing on the development of clinical skills, ethical practices, and professional growth. My goal is to help clinicians enhance their expertise and confidently navigate complex cases.
Graduate School Consultations: For graduate students, personalized mentorship and guidance are offered to help navigate academic challenges and career planning. From drafting a statement of interest to defending a dissertation, consultations provide tips to manage each step. Sessions are solution-focused, addressing specific concerns the student may have. Each individual session is 30 minutes long, offering flexibility and targeted support. The goal is to help students build a strong foundation as they prepare for successful careers in the mental health field.
